Dubai, July 9, 2012
Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman will showcase the art of Ayman Mihammad Adel Awwad, a Palestinian-born artist best known for his work in the areas of fantasy art and magic realism during Ramadan.
The artist’s Ramadan Exhibition will be unveiled on July 17 at the hotel’s R Café. The exhibition will showcase paintings depicting the blessed tradition and religious celebration of Ramadan.
Iftikhar Hamdani, general manager, Ramada Ajman said: “We are pleased to welcome Ayman Awwad back in Ramada Ajman to share his artworks and inspire us with his talent. Ramadan is very important to the Muslims and the exhibition will help them reflect and strengthen their faiths.
“Likewise, this will allow non-Muslims to learn more about Ramadan and appreciate this holy occasion. Ayman Awwad’s Ramadan art exhibition is also a testament that Ramada Ajman fully supports the enrichment of art and religion in the region.”
Ayman Awwad is a renowned artist who has exhibited personal art shows in the UAE, and has participated in major exhibits organised by the All-Palestinian Plastic Artists Union in Syria.
