2012 hair-styling trends on show

Walk of Beauty 2012, the biggest hair-show in the Middle East currently running in Dubai, is demonstrating the latest hair-styling trends, presented live as part of an audio-visual show.

The three-day Walk of Beauty, an event organised by Madi International, one of the region’s leading distributors of internationally reputed professional beauty brands, and Wella Professionals, is being held for the seventh consecutive year in Dubai.

It opened on May 29 in conjunction with Beautyworld Middle East and powered by Wella Professionals and P&G Salon Professionals at Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Center.

While Wella and Kadus Regional Education Team demonstrated the 2012 hair-styling, leading hair dressers also showcased their skills live.

Among the trends presented included Wella Professionals’ Blaze, Celeste, Grace and  Roxy, sporting different looks and hair styles.

The show assumed unmatched significance as it ran concurrently with Beautyworld Middle East, the largest international trade fair for beauty products, hair fragrances and wellbeing in the Middle East.

Walk of Beauty 2012 was supported by Hard Rock Café, Dubai, the partner-sponsors along with In Dubai We Trust (IDWT) Foundation, a non-profit organisation.

Ziad Stayteh, general manager of Madi International, said: “We are completely bowled over by the success of the Walk of Beauty this year – it is growing from strength from strength every passing year after our decision to make it an annual event. On show this year were a wide array of hair care trends and style statements. We are very happy to have achieved this astounding success. ”

“At Walk of Beauty, we have always tried to make it as interactive as possible, with the tips and the emerging hair styling trends – many of our experts presented their very latest styles and techniques to a live audience.”
