Sony names top Lebanese singer ME ambassador

Sony, the leading consumer electronics brand, has appointed Lebanese music sensation, Maya Diab, as brand ambassador for Sony’s Alpha NEX compact interchangeable lens cameras.

The singer features in Sony’s new TV and print commercials for the Alpha NEX compact interchangeable lens cameras, showcasing all of the camera’s capabilities including the world’s fastest release time lag (0.02 seconds) and best low light sensor, a statement said.

The ad film, directed by Ali F Mostafa, a renowned Emirati filmmaker, has Diab performing a signature dance routine whilst using the Sony Alpha NEX camera.

Built around a Maya Diab concert, the film turns the spotlight on her glamorous performances and her ability to instantly connect with fans and also showcases some of the camera’s key highlights, such as, Full HD video recording, brilliant images in low-light conditions and the world’s fastest release time lag.
