Its broad bezel and oversized, skeletonised hands, indices and indicators make reading the time an easy matter in all conditions, enhanced by the uncompromising accuracy provided by its cutting-edge Precidrive movement. The DS Action's sporty dial comes in either black or blue, to satisfy all watch lovers.

The brushed 316L stainless-steel case of the new, Precidrive-equipped Certina DS Action Chronograph is slightly oversized at 43 mm and makes a truly distinctive design statement. Its broad, polished unidirectional bezel wears large, highly-visible numerals, as well as a stripe of Superluminova along the first quadrant from 12 to 3 o’clock. Further Superluminova treatment on large dots at five-minute marks, inside the bold triangle-tipped indices at 12, 3 and 9 o’clock as well as on the various hands, ensure optimal underwater readability. Behind a sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both faces, the black dial is home to two chronograph counters, for 30-min. and 1/10th-sec., and a small-second counter, each one highlighted by a silver-coloured outline. A date window is conveniently placed at 6 o'clock.

Safety features and famous DS-Concept (Double Security) assembly make the DS Action Chronograph especially well-suited to very demanding environments. A screw-on case-back, screw-in push-buttons as well as a protected screw-in crown inscribed with the letters "DS", allow a high level of security.
