Gourmet food company Bateel has opened its first boutique and premium café in Kuwait, at the Avenues Mall, one of the largest malls in the country.

The opening comes as a reflection of Bateel’s recent growth in the region. Dr Ata Atmar, managing director of Bateel International, commented: “Bateel’s launch in Kuwait follows our recent successful expansion in Riyadh and marks the continuation of an important year of growth for our brand.”

“2016 is also a milestone year for Bateel, as we will be celebrating an impressive 25 years since the launch of our first boutique. Now an established name for the finest gourmet experiences, Bateel promises guests around the world a consistent commitment to excellence and culinary innovation upon every visit,” he added.

The Bateel boutique showcases the full range of gourmet products and offers a large selection of gift ideas while Café Bateel offers high-end Mediterranean cuisine, said a company statement.
