C5 Accelerate sponsors top Bahrain eGovt expo

MANAMA, September 25, 2018

C5 Accelerate, a Bahrain-based technology investment firm, has signed up as the platinum sponsor of the Bahrain International eGovernment Forum & IT Expo 2018, said the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA).

 The event will be held under the patronage of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa - Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology – on October 7 and 8 at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain.

C5 Accelerate executive director Hadyah Fathalla expressed her delight in company’s sponsorship for the prestigious Forum as such sponsorship is considered as a verification of company’s dedication towards the Kingdom of Bahrain by allowing C5 Accelerate to play a focal role as a technology partner for public and private entities.
 
She also expressed company’s pride in inviting all those interested in technology to visit the C5 Accelerate pavilion in the Bahrain IT Expo 2018 to become introduced to state-of-the-art advancements in the IT industry and experience the latest innovations, products and programs.

Fathalla added that 'C5 and our portfolio companies are proud to be playing an important role in this arena and to be working alongside the government in their constant efforts to develop Bahrain's technology industry.

“Cybersecurity remains a key consideration for all companies and governments, globally and regionally and we can only expect the sophistication and frequency of hacks to increase. It's important we continue to evolve our security to ensure that the online world is safe for all. We look forward to continuing to work with the Bahraini government and private sector to keep cybersecurity at the top of the agenda,” she said.
