Thales, a French multinational technology company, has announced the executive appointment of Gary Miller as vice president, Cybersecurity in the Middle East.

Miller, who was previously managing director of Thales Cyber and Consulting UK, managing 160 consultants with revenues over 20 million Euro, brings with him over 15 years of expertise in cyber and technology for start ups and large international corporates.

He will lead his team to deliver products, systems and consulting services to existing and new clients across the group’s entire portfolio in the UAE and wider Middle East, while leveraging the group’s best in-class solutions and services.

Miller will also lead the development of the recently launched Cybersecurity Hub in the Middle East, based in Dubai, UAE.

The Cyber Hub will serve as an integral platform to bolster organisations against this new threat landscape and future proof businesses and governments for success. This will be achieved by bringing the group’s world-class knowledge of safety and security critical markets into the region, coupled with its regional-specific expertise. This Cyber Hub will be led by a team of 10 experts immediately with scope for growth in 2018.
