The Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) and 'Worksmart' for Events Management have signed an agreement to organise the seventh edition of the “Meet ICT” conference and BITEX exhibition in January 2017.

Held under the patronage of the Minister of Transport and Communications Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, the events will be held from January 7 to 9.

“The conference aims to explore the latest developments in the information and communication technologies (ICT) field through interaction with selected experts and speakers at the conference, seize business opportunities and business transactions at the event and meet first-grade decision makers, managers, executives and leaders of the ICT sector,” said Ubaydli Ubaydli, chairman of BTECH.

“This wide participation in the conference and exhibition comes in line with our desire to invest in the most important technical event in Bahrain and the region and use it as a platform to expand the company’s business in the Middle East”,  he added.

An elite group of local, regional and global speakers will participate in the sessions and workshops to discuss a wide range of current technical topics. In addition, a number of key issues highlighting the importance of the ICT industry will be reviewed, added chairman of Work Smart Ahmed Al-Hujairi. - TradeArabia News Service
