Mobily, Intel-McAfee launch antivirus service

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, May 9, 2016

Saudi Arabia-based telecommunications firm Mobily has partnered with Intel-McAfee International Company to launch an antivirus and security service exclusively in the kingdom to protect customers from cyber-attacks.

The subscription fee will be SR20 if the customer desires to activate the service on three devices, and SR30 if he desires to activate the service on five devices, according to Mobily.

The service can be activated to protect a smartphones, tablets, laptops or computers. This allows subscribers to distribute their subscription to cover all devices with antivirus protection.

The launch of this service comes in the light of the increasing demand for security systems against viruses, as recent study indicates that the Kingdom is exposed to about 60 million cyber-attacks during the past year which is considered the highest rate of such attacks in the region, said a press release. –TradeArabia News Service
