Gulf Air extends benefits deal with Batelco

MANAMA, February 9, 2015

Bahrain’s national carrier Gulf Air and Bahrain Telecommunication Company (Batelco) have extended their partnership agreement to enhance benefits for Batelco's Al Dana customers.

Members of Batelco Al Dana Club, who hold Gulf Air Frequent flyer cards as part of their Al Dana Club benefits, will now have the opportunity to accrue additional Gulf Air Falconflyer Miles based on their Batelco bill payments, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

The agreement, which sees the accrual rates for Batelco's customers raised from 30 to 50 Gulf Air Falconflyer Miles for every BD100 ($263) spent, was signed at the national carrier's head office by Gulf Air acting chief commercial officer Ahmed Janahi and Batelco consumer division acting general manager Ebrahim Al Sayed.

Gulf Air FalconFlyer Miles can be redeemed for a range of benefits, including complimentary flights and upgrades to premium class, as well as for extra baggage allowance and lounge access.

Enrolment in the Gulf Air FalconFlyer programme can be completed online by visiting gulfair.com
