Kalaam among top Bahrain service providers

Manama, June 23, 2014

Kalaam Telecom has announced that with the completion of acquisition of Lightspeed it has become the second largest corporate service provider in Bahrain.

It now has a cumulative client base of more than 4,000 customers across all business segments, said the company in a statement.

Kalaam chief executive Veer Passi said the acquisition of Lightspeed has brought together significant synergies, primarily, in network and infrastructure.

"One of the major challenges for corporate customers is to ensure business continuity for critical-mission operations. Now Kalaam with its combined infrastructure i.e. dual tier-3 data centres and diversified backbone can provide near 100 per cent service uptime and guaranteed service levels," he stated.

"Secondly, most enterprises are looking for a one-stop shop to meet all their communications needs and, now, with our managed services and whole boutique of industry-based solutions, we can meet those demands very confidently," said the top official.

Veer Passi said the company can, now, not only offer more comprehensive solutions to its current customer base but also provide potential customers with best-in-class products to meet all their local and international voice and data telecom needs all under one roof backed by dedicated customer service and strong service level agreements.

Kalam's customer base includes some of the largest blue chip financial institutions and banks, private sector companies, government entities, residential customers and SMEs.-TradeArabia News Service
