Menatelecom plans to provide more customised offerings for businesses and consumers, the company's top official has said.

The telecom service provider's chairman Abdul Razak Jawahery said it had made a substantial investment "to provide the very best network, service and customer care".

"We consider ourselves the most powerful broadband service provider nationwide having established a sustainable stronghold in Bahrain over the past five years with an impressive track record of providing customers the best service," he said.

"From the start, Menatelecom was in the spotlight being the first company in the world to launch a nationwide WiMAX 802.16e end-to-end network.

"This was followed by many packages and offerings that were considered 'firsts' in the region; such as prepaid WiMAX service, dedicated online gaming packages in addition to huge advancements in the speed and quality of service experienced while surfing the web.

"Over the years, Menatelecom has become a household name and has gained a reputation of trust among loyal customers as they have come to rely on our ability to deliver a first-rate broadband internet service," he said.-TradeArabia News Service
