Bahrain's leading telecom operator Batelco has carried out a major enhancement of the BDF Hospital's information and communications technology infrastructure.

The project was implemented in phased modules, an approach that ensured minimum disturbance to the hospital's critical network services, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Among the solutions upgraded were the hospital's CCTV monitoring system and the wired and wireless LAN infrastructure.

As part of the server infrastructure upgrade, Batelco also provided the hospital with complete data storage and back-up applications and tape library. - TradeArabia News Service
