Bahrain firms ink online service accord

Manama, April 11, 2013

Al Nadeem and Tawasul, two Bahrain-based ICT companies, yesterday announced a strategic partnership, in an effort to provide world-class online services to clients in the kingdom and across the GCC.

Al Nadeem chief executive Ubaydli Al Ubaydli and Tawasul chief executive Adel Maymoon signed the agreement during the Bahrain IT Expo 2013, held at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa.

The two companies will jointly provide the 'Total Online Presence' solution, which is meant for governments, large businesses and corporations in both public and private sectors.

"Due to the rapid growth of online and social media users in Bahrain and GCC, and the public preference to communicate with organisations and businesses using social networks, we have decided to launch a product which will help clients to understand customer needs and interact with them using the medium of their choice," said Al Ubaydli.

"We found lots of synergies. Al Nadeem's strength is web development and mobile applications whereas Tawasul has expertise in social media strategy and content management.

"The idea is to work together to bring transformational change in how businesses use technology and media to sell their products, and provide the best customer service and support," Al Ubaydli added.

"The need for a one-stop-shop for online solutions and the hunger for new technology led Al Nadeem and Tawasul to work as one firm, providing total online presence to meet the growing demand," said Maymoon. – TradeArabia News Service
