SBM sets up internal network at Saudi ministry

Saudi Business Machines (SBM), a leading provider of IT services and solutions, has established an internal network at Information Center project at the Ministry of Justice in Saudi Arabia within a record time of nine months.
The Project Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz is a national project for a leading electronic infrastructure; including building an integrated information center contains the latest technical equipment in the area.
The project also includes integrated computer networks equipment for more than 400 sites of courts, public notaries and ministry branches; in which 230 branches have been linked with the Information Center and the Ministry of Justice.

The project has been carried out using high technology to connect officials in Judicial Departments across the closed network, provision of technical protection security to protect the ministry from the intrusions, and an integrated call center to respond to inquiries received from citizens and technical support staff.
The project also equipped the sites of ministry network with a central computer device. SBM also has installed video conference rooms across the Kingdom to enable Ministry's staff to hold remote meetings and training. – TradeArabia News Service
