Viva signs key deal with BlackBerry maker

Viva, a leading telecom service provider in the region, has signed an agreement with BlackBerry manufacturer Research In Motion (RIM) aimed at providing a wide range of content, applications and smart solutions for users.
Company chief commercial officer Andrew Hanna said the agreement is part of a partnership signed by Saudi Telecom Company and RIM.
'The partnership launches the highest levels of co-ordination between the two companies to fulfil the need for cutting-edge technologies and unique services customers have come to expect from us,' he said.
'As a result of this new partnership, our customers can now pre-book the BlackBerry Bold 9900 device with its exceptional design, touch screen and BlackBerry 7 operating system.'
He said the device comes with a 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen and a 640x480 resolution.
'It is a quad-band handset, has a five mega pixel camera, 768MB of RAM and 8GB of built-in memory,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
