Batelco launches new broadband offer

Batelco, the leading mobile broadband services provider in Bahrain, has bundled together its wireless USB and adapter to offer a new mobile broadband solution.

The solution, which is available for both postpaid and prepaid customers, offers Batelco’s O-net E1550 USB device with the D105 adaptor for BD27 ($71.6), giving customers a saving of up to 18 per cent, a statement said.

Customers who already own a Batelco O-net E1550 USB may purchase the O-adaptor for BD18, it added.

“Customers can create their own wireless hotspot at home, at work, at college, in fact anywhere with this versatile combination of the USB stick and adaptor,” said Ahmed Al Janahi, Batelco Group general manager media relations.

“Just plug the USB speed stick into the adaptor and you have a mobile wireless office or Wi-Fi for your home that enables you, and other users, to simultaneously use your laptop, smartphone, netbooks and any other computers, all effortlessly and economically,” he added.

The USB and adaptor work efficiently with both PC and MAC and at only 100g, the adaptor is light and portable, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
