TechAccess, Quantum in distribution deal

TechAccess, a leading Dubai-headquartered IT distributor, and US-based Quantum Corp, a global specialist in backup, recovery and archiving, have entered into a distribution agreement.

Tech Access will distribute Quantum’s Scalar i-series of tape libraries and DXi disk-based backup and deduplication products to organisations that require highly scalable enterprise-class solutions in the Mena markets.

It will also provide solutions based on Quantum’s StorNext software to meet the growing demands in the management of unstructured data.

Quantum and Tech Access will address the storage needs of growth sectors including local government, oil and gas, manufacturing, media and financial services, a statement said.
