SonicWall, a leading secure network infrastructure company, has launched an advanced firewall for the enterprise delivered with application intelligence and intrusion prevention system (IPS).

SonicWall also announced a portfolio of virtual security appliances as part of its vision to deliver dynamic security for the global network. The newly announced network security appliance (NSA) E8500 enables enterprises to take advantage of technology trends such as Web 2.0, converged communications and mobility without compromising performance.
