Openwave unveils latest applications

Dubai, December 8, 2009

Openwave Systems, a leading software innovator offering a mediation platform and tools to mobilize the Internet, is showcasing its latest applications at an ongoing GSM expo in Dubai.

The two-day GSM Middle East Com 2009 opened yesterday (December 7) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Openwave is displaying its latest mobile internet, mobile analytics, messaging and location software applications and infrastructure at the summit.

“Like their counterparts in mature markets, many operators in emerging markets are seeing the value in gaining a deeper understanding of mobile data usage and traffic patterns in order to optimize their network resources and deliver better services to users,” said Anurag Patnaik, director of product management, Openwave.

“We believe that the earlier operators can gain insight into what’s happening on their networks, the more agile they will be in responding to data usage patterns and in offering services that are relevant to subscribers,' he added.

'Openwave is committed to serving emerging markets and helping operators of all sizes offer subscribers the most advanced mobile internet and messaging experience available.' – TradeArabia News Service
