Etisalat to unveil key services at ITW

Etisalat, the Middle East’s largest telecommunications company and one of the world’s largest 20 operators by market value, has announced its participation and sponsorship of the International Telecoms Week (ITW), which runs from June 2 to 4 in Washington DC.
Etisalat’s Carrier and Wholesale Services team will be showcasing its comprehensive service portfolio to a global audience of three thousand executives, representing almost the entire international carrier community, said a top Etislalt official.
“With over 3000 attendees from virtually every major global carrier, ITW is an ideal platform to enhance our business and strengthen our international relationships,” said Ali Amiri, executive vice president, Etisalat Carrier & Wholesale.
Etisalat is the largest carrier of voice traffic and IP traffic in the Middle East and acts as the regional hub for both regional and intercontinental connectivity.
The UAE telco terminates calls at over 600 destinations, with 118 direct connections; and points of presence in the UAE, London, Frankfurt, New York, Amsterdam, and Singapore.
It also offers a comprehensive portfolio of international services and broadband capacity to telecommunications companies and mobile operators across the Middle East and around the world. These services include voice, Internet and a complete portfolio of global mobile and value added services.
During the show, Etisalat will be highlighting all of its latest services for the wholesale community, including eVoice, eTransit, eMobile and the Emirates Internet Exchange EMIX.

The International Telecoms Week (ITW) 2008 has been established to provide an alternative meeting for telecom carriers and service providers globally.
