Saudi Arabia to head GCC's Air Navigation Committee
KUWAIT, December 25, 2018
A representative of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) was appointed as chairman to the GCC states' Air Navigation Committee in a unanimous vote during the 13th meeting of the Air Navigation Committee meeting that was held last week in Kuwait.
The selections confirms the keenness of Saudi Arabia to move forward and activate the joint GCC work through the existing committees.
With this selection, Saudi Arabia will continue to preside over the Committee during the upcoming meetings including the preceding periods.
The meeting discussed a number of issues relating to the aviation fields, which included the harmonisation of air navigation systems, coordination of air traffic control procedures and the smooth flow of air network routes. - TradeArabia News Service
