Honeywell launches remote monitoring system for EMEA customers
DUBAI, December 4, 2018
Honeywell, a leading technology company, has announced that Honeywell Connected Plant Thermal IQ, a cloud-based remote monitoring system designed to monitor and manage critical thermal process data, is now available to customers in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
This cybersecure offering is part of Honeywell’s asset performance management (APM) portfolio that helps customers improve asset performance, which ultimately increases plant uptime, said a statement from the company.
Thermal IQ is a remote monitoring solution for industrial and commercial thermal applications. It securely connects combustion equipment to the cloud, making critical thermal process data available in real time on any smart device.
With Thermal IQ, maintenance engineers and plant managers can more effectively monitor and manage their thermal process equipment, minimizing unplanned downtime and maximizing uptime, it said.
Steve Kenny, general manager EMEA, Honeywell Thermal Solutions, said: “Combustion equipment represents some of the most critical technology that can drastically impact plant uptime, not to mention overall plant safety.”
“Thermal IQ was designed to give operators greater insight into how that equipment is performing and lead to better asset performance, which is a key outcome of Honeywell Connected Plant,” he added.
Honeywell Connected Plant is a suite of applications that delivers higher levels of safety, reliability, efficiency and profitability.
These proven industry solutions are based on decades of domain knowledge and controls experience.
They turn data into actionable insight so industrial manufacturers can optimise operations, predict plant failures and eliminate unplanned downtime. This new level of consistent high performance makes every day the best day of production, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
