Bahri and Mazroei unveils optimised solutions for utilities
DUBAI, October 25, 2018
UAE-based Bahri and Mazroei Group is showcasing an advanced suite of technologies optimised to enhance the efficiency and productivity of water and energy utilities at the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex 2018) in Dubai.
The group is at the expo along with its subsidiary Bahri & Mazroei Trading Systems (BMTS), a leading solutions provider for extra low voltage systems.
BMTS has a strong track record of supporting the power and water utilities covering water pumping stations, water treatment and desalination plants, water transmission and distribution, and power plants through solutions such as remote terminal units (RTU), power-line communications (PLC), variable frequency drives (VFD), and human-machine interface (HMI) terminals.
As the UAE’s leading systems integrator with smart solutions for different buildings and infrastructure categories, BMTS has continuously expanded its innovation and advanced product line-up to meet the growing requirements of its customers for infrastructure development.
From providing end-to-end smart solutions for buildings to industrial automation to infrastructure development, BMTS has completed several landmark projects in the UAE such as PLCs for the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), and have undertaken annual maintenance contracts for the PLC systems of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (Fewa).
BMTS said its key highlight at Wetex this year has been the innovative charging solutions for electric vehicles at its joint stand with Italian manufacturer Scame.
As a pioneer in promoting electric car charging and green technologies solutions, Scame of Italy has teamed up with BMTS to promote Libera, the new series of connectors, introducing a safer and more evolved series that enables connection for recharging and informed communication between the vehicle and the charging infrastructure.
Scame's adopted EcoMobility logo, which is dedicated exclusively to the Libera series, represents the complete green range of Libera, which underlines its capability to decrease environmental impact, and to deliver more effective and efficient solutions that enhance the functions and security of the electric vehicle charging products.
Esam Al Mazroei, the vice chairman of Bahri & Mazroei Group, said: "Electric cars are the future, and the UAE is at the forefront in introducing them. With their rising popularity, it is important to have the right solutions to support them."
"Through the innovative technology showcased at Wetex, we are delighted to support the nation vision in transitioning towards electric cars. It offers us a strong platform to highlight our global end to end smart solutions that support the sustainable development goals of the country," stated Al Mazroei.
Furthermore, BMTS is completing its wider range of innovative solutions for the utilities sector by leading global smart and connected solutions from partners such as Rockwell Automation, Danfoss and Siemens, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
