Anita Mehra, senior vice president of communication and reputation at Dubai Airports, inaugurated Cargo Connect and Airport Solutions Dubai 2018 at Roda Al Bustan in Dubai on Monday.

The industry event has attracted some 650 buyers and key industry players in addition to over 100 top officials representing international airports, regulatory bodies, control authorities, experts and organisations related to the aviation sector.

Industry experts attending the co-located events will discuss challenges such as sustainability, economy of scale between sea and air logistics, disruptive technologies, blockchain, advanced cargo process, and 3D printing among others.
