Finland-based Nokian Tyres, a leading tyre manufacturing company, will showcase its latest products which will highlight the company’s developments in tyre safety, economy and sustainability at the FinnMETKO 2018, being held in Finland.

The event, a leading heavy machinery industry trade and sales fair, will be held from tomorrow (August 30) to September 1, in Jämsä.

Nokian Tyres is presenting a record number of new products for different end user segments as well as some interesting vehicles for the first time, said a statement from the company.

Nokian Tractor King: This is a new no-compromise tyre for tractors used in forestry, earthmoving and road construction work in the most challenging conditions. Representing all-new technology in terms of grip and durability, the strength of the tyre carcass is comparable to earthmoving tyres. The largest models of the series are also the most massive tyres we have ever manufactured. At our booth you’ll be able to see the tyres on a gigantic Valtra S Series tractor.

Nokian R-Truck product line: Another new release is a series of truck tyres for demanding on and off-road use on e.g. earthmoving and forestry sites around the year. The product line features three tyre models: Nokian R-Truck Drive for drive axle use, Nokian R-Truck Steer for steer axle use and Nokian R-Truck Trailer optimised for trailer use. All Nokian R-Truck tyres are designed to give both comfortable and quiet ride on the highway as well as offer good grip in various soft surfaces.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck T: The Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck product line, designed for the harshest of winter conditions, has now been complemented with the Hakkapeliitta Truck T model for trailer use. The new product carries on the Nokian Hakkapeliitta tradition of offering the best possible grip and durability for timber transports on small roads and other demanding winter conditions.

Nokian MPT Agile 2: The new off-road tyre Nokian MPT Agile 2 premiers at the trade fair as well. Developed in collaboration with the Finnish Defense Forces, special attention has been paid to tyre’s steerability as well as demands set by defence use.
