Senior officials from UAE and Sudan recently met to discuss issues of mutual interest and investment opportunities in the mining sector of Sudan, said a report.

Hamad Mohammed Humaid Al Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to Sudan; and Mohammed Ahmed Ali Ibrahim, Sudanese Minister of Minerals, met at the ministry's premises in Khartoum, reported UAE state news agency Wam.

The Sudanese minister lauded the excellent bilateral relations, welcoming UAE investments in all fields especially in mining and minerals sector, added the report.
