QTerminals at top EU container supply chain event
DOHA, June 12, 2018
QTerminals, the operator of the first phase of Hamad Port in Qatar, is taking part in the TOC Europe, a leading international business and networking event for stakeholders of the container supply chain, being held in the Netherlands.
QTerminals is a terminal operating company jointly established by Qatar Ports Management Company (Mwani Qatar) and Qatar Navigation (Milaha).
The three-day event, which kicked off today (June 12), will see officials of QTerminals provide information on the current state of operations at Hamad Port besides the ongoing development of port operations and the technologies being used, said a statement from the company.
CEO Neville Bissett said: “Our participation in TOC Europe complements our attendance at TOC Asia earlier this year, which aims at introducing the world to the remarkable work that is currently being done at Hamad Port.”
“The port, which has seen exponential growth during a few months of operations, is further cementing Qatar’s position as a regional maritime hub,” stated Bisset.
“We look forward to meeting our current and prospective partners and peers, and to discussing the many lucrative opportunities that Qatar and Hamad Port present, as well as the challenges facing our industry,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
