Jumbo brings HP’s Jet Fusion 3D printers to UAE

UAE, May 29, 2018

Jumbo Enterprise, a leading bespoke enterprise solutions company in the UAE, said it is expanding its range of products and solutions with HP’s leading Jet Fusion 3D printers, in order to meet the increased demand for 3D printing materials in the UAE.

As the UAE continues to invest in developing a competitive knowledge-based economy to fulfil the goals outlined in its Vision 2021 and preparation for Expo2020, there is a growing demand for 3D printing materials in manufacturing and construction, said a company statement.

Jumbo is combining its strength and wide reach in the UAE with HP’s technologically advanced solutions to bring the industry leading Multi Jet Fusion technology to the UAE, it said.

The company will offer the Jet Fusion range of 3D printers to model shops and 3D print service bureaus in the UAE, offering these innovative manufacturers extreme dimensional accuracy and fine detail at 340 million voxels per second, 10 times faster than previous systems, it added.

HP’s technology continues to remain far superior than its competitors, which is why Jumbo has chosen to partner with them – and the company has set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Dubai’s Jebel Ali, with a second centre to follow in Rashidiya – to fuel the growth in the 3D printing segment, said a statement.

Latik Gupta, head of Jumbo Enterprise, said: “The 3D printing market in the UAE has grown over the past years with various industries using 3D printers to produce prototypes.”

“However, with the Expo2020 around the corner, the government is looking to maximise efficiencies and the ‘Dubai 3D Printing Strategy’ aims to use the technology to cut cost in many sectors,” he said.

“To support this vision, we are taking the lead in investing in HP’s Multi Jet Fusion technology to provide businesses with a better way to develop and manufacture not only prototype parts but also production parts with detailed precision and smooth output at faster speeds,” he added.

Gupta continued: “Adding the HP Jet Fusion 3D printers to our strong portfolio of services will enable us to target many industries in the UAE, including medical, automotive and industrial machinery as part of their digital manufacturing method and final parts production.”

“Our collaboration with HP allows us to offer more diverse and cost-effective solutions to our existing and potential customers with one of the most advanced 3D printing innovations available today,” he concluded.

HP’s 3D printers were developed using HP’s decades of research and expertise in precision mechanics, microfluids and materials sciences, coupled with HP’s leadership in 2D printing, it said.

As an authorised distributor, Jumbo Enterprise will distribute the HP Jet Fusion 3D printer range across the UAE. Customers of the HP 3D printing technology will also receive long-term support and after-sales service from Jumbo Enterprise’s in-house sales and service technicians, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
