DUBAI, May 9, 2018
The Russian Export Center presented the Russian Pavilion for the first time at the 23rd edition of Beautyworld Middle East, being held in Dubai, UAE, where 13 Russian cosmetic manufacturers are showcasing their complete range of beauty products at the Russian Pavilion.
The event which kicked off yesterday (May 8) will conclude tomorrow (May 10), at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The beauty industry is booming in the UAE, and the country is now the fastest-growing market for beauty products in the world. The growing global preference for quality and affordable beauty products has also taken root in the Middle East.
Consumers in the UAE spent $247 per capita on cosmetics and personal care, more than any other country in the Middle East, and ninth worldwide. This is forecast to grow to $294 in 2020, according to Euromonitor International.
The factors for growth are the increasing demand from the youth population, an increase in the number of working women, the adoption of Western culture and lifestyle and an increase in the number of beauty salons, added Euromonitor International.
Irina Kashirina, project manager for export support at the Russian Export Center, said: “We are excited to be part of the event this year and to provide consumers with an extensive range of high quality and affordable beauty and personal care products to choose from.”
“Customers are increasingly looking for value for money in beauty care products along with a range of other benefits including quality and natural ingredients,” she said.
“With the UAE stated to be the fastest growing markets for beauty products, we are happy to be addressing this need and unlocking the export potential of our Russian beauty line,” she added.
At the event, Krasnaya Liniya will present its line of skin and hair care products and Zeldis-Pharma will showcase its flagship brands Librederm and Loshadinaya Sila. Arkadia, Laboratory Emansi and Uniq Cosmetics will display their range, carefully researched and crafted in their own laboratories.
Aero-Pro will present hair care products, Inki will have on display placental and peptide cosmetics that are much sought-after in the Middle East and Mesopharm and Geltek will bring professional cosmetics for home use to the exhibition.
There will also be representatives from Rusexport – manufacturers of Splat toothpaste and other products for oral care – as well as another company Global Dent that will provide free counselling on oral hygiene and teeth whitening at home. Elian Russia specialises in decorative cosmetics and will showcase their entire range. Last but not least, Nomi will display their special brands of cosmetics for children.
Being natural is one of the biggest trends in the modern beauty market and Russian cosmetics are designed keeping this in mind. All the brands being showcased meet the modern requirements of the beauty industry at very attractive prices, it said.
The 13 Russian cosmetics manufacturers are exhibiting at the show for the first time and will give visitors an opportunity to test a complete beauty range from hair-care, skin-care, intimate hygiene solutions, oral hygiene cleansers, professional cosmetics, placental and peptide cosmetics, children’s decorative cosmetics and much more, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
