Latest automation tech to be showcased at Saudi event

RIYADH, March 8, 2018

The latest automation and digitisation technologies and growth opportunities for Saudi Arabian process industries will be highlighted at the Symposium on Industrial Systems & Control 2018, to be held in the kingdom.

The symposium is taking place at the Kempinski Al Othman Hotel Al Khobar, on March 27 and 28, and will be providing an exceptional platform for automation professionals, equipment manufacturers and service providers to explore new strategies and solutions and showcase the latest products and most recent technical innovations in this area, said a statement.  

The event was announced by the International Society of Automation Saudi Arabia Section (ISA-SAS), and is being held in collaboration with King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).

Dr Khalid Sultan, rector of KFUPM, chairman of the board of the Saudi Electricity Company, and member of the board of directors for Saudi Aramco, is set to deliver the opening remarks on the first day, it said.

The event has the official support of Ahmed Al Sa’adi, senior vice president technical services, Saudi Aramco, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
