Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the Bahrain-based international aluminium smelter, is currently conducting a workshop for the executive management team and managers on strategic communication, at the Alba Club in Bahrain.

The workshop on ‘The Power of Strategic Conversations’ by Mark Magnacca is taking place today (November 12) and tomorrow (November 13), said a statement from Alba.

Magnacca is a recognised business building coach, keynote speaker and author of "So What? How to Communicate What Really Matters to Your Audience".
 
The workshop will focus on developing effective ways for strategic conversations as well as communicating with peers and subordinates. It will also emphasise on the lessons learned from Alba’s Line 5 Recovery that can benefit the Line 6 Start-Up Project, it added.
 
This is Magnacca second workshop for Alba employees when the previous one was held in January 2016 on his book "So What? How to Communicate What Really Matters to Your Audience", said a statement.
 
The workshop will be also delivered by him for all Alba management teams in this week at Alba Club, it stated.

Alba’s chief executive officer Tim Murray said: “Communicating and engaging with employees on an ongoing basis will align them with the company’s strategic goals.”

“Having such workshops in place will prepare our employees for Alba’s next transformational phase – Line 6 Expansion Project,” he said.
