GCC Lab, Cesi to build electrical testing unit

Global technical consulting and engineering company Cesi SpA and GCC Electrical Testing Laboratory (GCC Lab) have signed a term sheet for the development and operation of a state-of-the-art electrical testing facility in Saudi Arabia.
The testing platform will perform a wide range of electromechanical testing activities and provide technical services according to the highest international standards. The lab will be a key asset to support the policies promoted by Saudi Arabia in order to sustain the electrical industry in the GCC region.
“This partnership combines Cesi’s knowledge, expertise and global resources with the GCC Lab’s knowledge of local market needs and goals - laying the groundwork for state-of-the art capabilities in the region’s electrical testing market,” said Saleh Al-Amri, GCC Lab CEO.
“It is a significant step in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030 and GCC countries’ vision and will contribute significantly towards localizing manufacturing and services, fostering a knowledge-based economy, energy sustainability and competitiveness, supporting research and enhancing energy efficiency.
