Manateq offers industrial plots in Mesaieed zone

DOHA, March 22, 2017

Qatar's state-run Economic Zones Company (Manateq) is inviting applications from potential investors looking to benefit from opportunities in its Mesaieed Industrial Zone, a leading hub for businesses which is located 40 km south of Doha, said a report.

The industrial zone provides the opportunity of immediate handover of land plots, ranging from 1,500 to 300,000 sq m, and an option to move in now and start paying rent next year, and the possibility of extending the lease up to 25 years, reported The Peninsula.

The move is in line with Manateq’s vision to promote economic diversification in investments that add value to Qatar and underlines its mission to create a world-class business environment for local and overseas investors, to help meet the Qatar National Vision 2030.

Manateq also develops and operates special economic zones, logistics parks and warehousing parks.

The zone’s strategic location next to Hamad Port and Um Alhoul Special Economic Zone makes it the perfect location for sectors including raw building materials, concrete asphalt and building equipment, or for firms looking for a sound investment.

The Mesaieed Industrial Zone has already established itself as a hub for firms specialising in petrochemicals, chemical fertiliser oil refining and metallurgical engineering, added the report.
