Atech presents simulation solutions at Idex
ABU DHABI, February 23, 2017
Brazil-based Atech, a company of the Embraer Group, has brought to Idex 2017 its systems for the simulation of real military operation environments.
Idex 2017, which opened in Abu Dhabi on February 19, ends today (Febraury 23).
Atech, with extensive experience in developing simulation solutions for the Brazilian Armed Forces, develops integrated systems for military scenarios that allow the simulation of command and control environments; electronic warfare activities; anti-aircraft artillery operations, including surveillance radar activities; military coordination operations with or without air support for monitoring and interception; and operation system integration with the use of armoured vehicles and army aircraft, the company said.
Those systems consist of different simulation subsystems: air, land and sea targets; sensor detection; command and control; flight; electronic warfare information; combat vehicles; anti-aircraft artillery; and periscope.
The Military Air Operations Simulator (SOpM) is a perfect example of Atech’s capabilities. It renders scenarios for training air defense controllers and provides tools such as external interface simulations; preparation, storage and execution of training procedures; data recording for student evaluation; and simultaneous drills, among other features, the company said.
Known as the Brazilian “System House,” Atech has always followed a path of innovation to transform Brazil. With its unique expertise in system engineering and situational awareness and decision-making support technology, Atech develops innovative solutions in the field of air traffic, command and control systems, cyber security, smart grids, instrumentation and control solutions, logistics and apps for smartphones and mobile devices, it added.
The company is responsible for the development and update of the entire Brazilian airspace management system and works on other strategic projects for Brazil as well as in Spain. - TradeArabia News Service
