GOIC with ISO certification from BSI

British Standards Institution (BSI), a UKAS-accredited body, has presented the Qatar-based Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) with the ISO 9001-2008 Quality Management System Certification.

GOIC has received this certification in the area of the provision of market and industrial study, and industrial market intelligence services within GCC region, said a statement.

GOIC secretary general Abdulaziz Bin Hamad Al Ageel said that this certification highlights GOIC’s support of the industrial sector in the GCC by validating its commitment to the highest standard of quality management system requirements.

He thanked BSI for their support and professionalism throughout the whole process of the certification, it said.

The ISO 9001-2008 certification is considered the most prominent global system in quality management. In fact, the implementation of such a quality management system within GOIC allows it to monitor the quality of its operations at all levels, in addition to assessing and developing performance.

It also allows for sustainable services by identifying processes to improve operations continuously, while focusing on customers as the primary requirement.

Moreover, the continuous inclusion of all employees on a business team is critical to its sustainable success. During the process, employees’ involvement led to a personal investment in the project, and in turn, created motivated and committed teams, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
