CAIRO, July 20, 2016

A consortium from Poland is planning on establishing an industrial area at the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) in Egypt, said a report.

The representatives of the consortium will be choosing between Ain Sokhna and East Port Said for the best suited location for the establishment of an industrial area, added the Daily News Egypt report.

Poland is particularly interested in investing in the SCZone and a Polish government delegation will visit the region before the end of this month, a source at the General Authority of the Economic Zone of Suez Canal, it said.

The source added that the authority will meet with a delegation of Polish investors to explore investment opportunities in the region.
