Alba names new acting director of administration
MANAMA, February 16, 2016
Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has appointed Dr Elham Al Eid as its new acting director of administration.
In her new role, Dr Al Eid will oversee the departments of human resources, training and development, Alba Health Care Centre and Alba Club, said a statement.
Tim Murray, chief executive, said: “I look forward to seeing Dr Elham take the challenge to run such a critical organisation within the Company.
“We are proud to provide leadership opportunities for national employees, in particular women, who play a critical role in achieving the company's goals.
“Dr Elham, in her new role, is a motivation for Bahraini women in the industrial sector and we wish her all the best.”
She joined Alba in 2006 as a medical officer and since 2012, she has been serving as the chief medical officer at Alba’s Health Care Centre. - TradeArabia News Service
