Alba achieves new training milestone

MANAMA, February 1, 2016

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has achieved above the industry benchmark of five per cent training hours of the total man hours in 2015.
 
The company achieved this figure successfully for three years in a row, thus reiterating its commitment towards employee training and development, said a statement.
 
Alba has one of the most advanced employee training and development programmes in the kingdom, wherein the employees are trained as per international standards of excellence in all fields.
 
Tim Murray, Alba’s chief executive officer, paid a recent visit to the company’s Training Department, accompanied by manager - Training Rawdha Al Aradi. 
 
Murray met with the Alba trainees and highlighted all the distinctive accomplishments of Alba in 2015, especially in the field of training. 
 
He encouraged the trainees to maximise their knowledge and urged them to make the most out of every chance they get at learning.
 
“We believe that there is nothing more valuable than education. As a corporate citizen proud of its Bahraini roots, Alba wants to ensure that our company is a unique and excellent place for our employees to work, and in line with the same, we remain committed towards strengthening our learning culture and developing our workforce,” Murray added. - TradeArabia News Service
