Khalifa Port, the flagship of Abu Dhabi Ports, the master developer, operator and manager of ports and industrial zones in the emirate, has won the “Port of the Year” Award of the Maritime Standard Awards.
Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports, received the award in the presence of dignitaries from across the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, at the event held in Dubai, UAE.
This is the second consecutive year Abu Dhabi Port has won the award, said a statement.
The award honoured Khalifa Port, a world-class state-of-the-art port and first semi-automated port in the region, for its outstanding achievements during this year, it added.
