Alba takes part in Arabal

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), a leading aluminium smelter in the world, is a key participant and gold sponsor of the ongoing 19th edition of the Arab International Aluminium Conference and Exhibition (Arabal), being held in Saudi Arabia.
The event, among the most important trade event for the aluminium industry in the Middle East, kicked off yesterday (November 15) and will conclude on November 17.
Arabal is being hosted by Ma’aden, and is taking place at the Dhahran International Exhibitions Centre, Dammam.
The event focuses on the integration of the aluminium upstream and downstream sectors throughout the GCC, and combines an international exhibition and strategic conference with participation from leading aluminium smelters in the world, said a statement from the company.
Alba is showcasing its portfolio of high-grade aluminium products, and highlighting its quality focused production process and safety conscious operations.
The company is being represented by a high-level delegation led by chief executive officer Tim Murray and chief marketing officer Khalid Abdul Latif, it added.
Murray said: “As the oldest smelter in the GCC and a regional pioneer in aluminium production, we are proud to support this event, which represents the smelters of the region and showcases their contribution to the global aluminium industry.”
