Auckland-based Sealegs Corporation Limited, a leading multinational marine company, has appointed Roy Nouhra, president and founder of the UAE-based Asis Boats, as its board member.

Asis Boats is a world leader in advanced maritime solutions for leisure, commercial and military customers.

Sealegs Corp was established in 1987 and is among the leading manufacturers of amphibious marine crafts.

The company serves customers in New Zealand, Australia, France, UK, South Korea, Malaysia, Ireland, Hong Kong, Thailand Belgium, UAE and US, said a statement.

In his capacity as a member of board, Nouhra will play a key role in the strategic growth and direction of the company, as well as strengthen the manufacturing expertise for Sealegs amphibious crafts, it said.

He will also be responsible for advising the board of directors and developing understanding of and interest in the new amphibious system in the Middle East, it added.
