Top official to open pharmaceutical event

Top official Amin Al Amiri, assistant undersecretary for public health and licensing from the Ministry of Health, UAE, will inaugurate the GCC Pharmaceutical Congress, which will take place next month in Dubai, UAE.
The latest technologies and innovations in pharmacy practice will be highlighted at the event, which will run from October 5 to 8, at the Dusit Thani Hotel.
Pharmacists, doctors and other healthcare professionals from various hospitals in the region as well as government bodies such as Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) will also come to participate at the congress, said a statement.
The congress, in its second year is being organised by Maarefah Management, and its list of supporters include the executive board of Health Ministers’ Council for GCC States, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Oman Pharmaceutical Society, Emirates Medical Association Pharmacy Society, and Dubai Healthcare City; and academic organisations including Qatar University, University of Sharjah, Gulf Medical University and Dubai Pharmacy College. – TradeArabia News Service
