Firm to sell 'Made in Madinah' products

JEDDAH, August 6, 2015

Madinah-based Namaa Almunawara Company is set to open new branches to sell handicraft and agricultural products carrying the label 'Made in Madinah,' according to a report.
 
The company has approved locations where the new branches are to be opened in the next few weeks and targets to create as many as 1,000 jobs in a six-year period, said the Arab News report.
 
The branches will work as major outlets to sell products by young businessmen and women, productive families and owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Madinah, it said.
 
It aims at ensuring sustainability and growth of businesses and availability of products to visitors to the holy city, Ahmed Al-Mahairi, chief executive officer, was quoted as saying.
