India set to host die & mould exhibition

The ninth 'Die & Mould International Exhibition,'  the only trade fair in India for the industry, kicks off in Mumbai on April 17 featuring leading exhibitors from across the globe.

The event will be inaugurated by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the 11th President of India, an accomplished scientist, author and profound thinker.

The four-day event is being organized by India’s only tooling association 'Tool and Gauge Manufacturers Association - India (TAGMA-India).

With the regular participation of leading brands from India and abroad showcasing their latest proven technologies, incorporating features to improve productivity, quality and reduce costs, the expo has been attracting quality visitors like CEOs, directors, owners, managers, consultants and decision makers to the exhibition, said the organisers.

PN Surendranath, the executive director of Tagma said the presence of Dr Kalam will boost up the Indian tooling industry. "I hope his knowledge and views will help the industry learn and develop better technology and vision."

According to him, the tooling industry would be worth Rs $4 billion by 2015.

The series of Die & Mould exhibition is “A Trend Setter” organised by TAGMA since 1998; which has build growing global awareness and reputation as the only trade fair in India for the die & mould industry and very large by international standards of various Die Mould Exhibitions held globally.

Bhaskar Kanchan of Tagma India said the previous edition was highly successful with a steady growth, of over 23 per cent in number of exhibitors, 20 per cent jump in the visitor number and 17 per cent increase in exhibition area.

A key highlight of the last expo had been the two country pavilions from China and Germany. The event also attracted exhibitors, delegations and visitors from over 25 countries worldwide.

The '9th Die Mould India' exhibition spread over 20,000 sq m will provide all businesses related to the tooling industry an ideal and prestigious opportunity to display and market their products and services.-TradeArabia News Service
