Zee Laboratories, which offers testing facilities required by various industries, has launched a project to implement ISO 17025:2005, which specifies the requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling.

The implementation and training project was kicked off by InfoVision Consultants (ICON), an integrated consultancies provider for management and technology.

“Zee Laboratories has enjoyed latest technology and accuracy and now decided to have international symbol for competency and quality,” said Zuhair Habib Awachi, president of Zee Laboratories.

“Keeping in mind such things, Zee has started implementation of ISO / IEC 17025 accreditation and decided goal of achieving the accreditation by end 2009 and in two years period Zee laboratory has set his own standard for achieving customer satisfaction and is enjoying the same since its inception,” he added.

He continued: “Selection of ICON has totally being on merit and management of Zee Lab has thorough review the success stories by ICON in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and other countries in Mena.”
