United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) plans to launch its IEC1 (Indian Sub Continent – North Europe) Service during the second half of September 2009.

The IEC1 service will offer highly competitive transit times from Indian Subcontinent to a range of ports in North Europe, a statement said.

The new service covers the following ports: Karachi –Mundra – Nava Sheva – Cagliari – Hamburg – Tilbury – Antwerp.

“This slot exchange agreement is a part of UASC’s ongoing commitment to constantly improve and meet our clients’ demands, enabling UASC to offer a wider range of improved services to its customers,” said the statement. – TradeArabia News Service
