ESL wins SCM Logistics award

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) said it was presented with the 'Asia Pacific Shipping Liner Excellence Award' at the 4th Supply Chain Management (SCM) Logistics Excellence Award ceremony held recently in Singapore.
 
The award programme is an annual event held in collaboration with the Annual SCM Logistics World representing the logistics and supply chain industry.

The award winners were chosen after an extensive nomination, submission and evaluation process by an eminent panel of judges comprising experts from the international supply chain and logistics industry.
 
Vikas Mohammed Khan, chairman and CEO of Emirates Shipping Line received the award on behalf of Emirates Shipping Line.
 
"It is truly an honor to be recognized by our industry peers and an exciting opportunity for all of us at Emirates to be part of the winning team," said an elated Khan.

"It is a dedication especially to the team and agencies around the world that have taken enormous efforts to bring Emirates forward and to contribute to the global success of our company," he added.

The award was presented before an audience of 400 senior industry professionals at a glittering award ceremony at Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore.
