Interpipe opens warehouse in Dubai

Interpipe, a leading producer of steel pipes and railway wheels, has announced the opening of a warehouse facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai.
The new warehouse will be an important resource for the company's growing business in the Middle East, a business that grew by 40 per cent during the first six months of 2007.
The new Interpipe facility will provide a wide range of the company’s pipe products for the oil and gas, construction (fire fighting, air conditioning, water transportation systems), housing, and other industries and will help to reduce delivery times for customers across the region.
Vera Smal, director of sales for pipes with industrial application, said: “Interpipe has more than seven years experience in the Middle East, supplying its products to a number of Gulf-based customers. When we opened our regional headquarters in Dubai last year, we strongly felt the need for warehouse facilities in the region. The new warehouse will ensure that we can serve all of our customers in the Middle East, providing them with first-rate service.”
Interpipe opened its regional headquarters in Dubai in November 2007, to service clients across the region. Interpipe’s products are certified in accordance with API, EN (DIN), ASTM and our environmental management system is certified under ISO 14001, he said.
Interpipe is a global producer of steel pipes and wheels, one of the fastest growing producers in Eastern and Central Europe.
With annual turnover in excess of $1.4 billion, Interpipe produces 2 per cent of the world’s seamless pipes and 12.8 per cent of railway wheels.
