King Hamad American Mission Hospital adopts new disinfection technology

In a groundbreaking step towards elevating the standards of healthcare and infection control in Bahrain, the King Hamad American Mission Hospital has announced the launch of the latest advanced technology in continuous disinfection for operation rooms - Uvmedico. 
 
The launch ceremony was held under the patronage of Lieutenant General Dr Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, and Mrs. Liselotte Plesner, the Ambassador of Denmark to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Yemen.
 
A detailed presentation was given on the significance of UVmedico's advanced disinfection technology in enhancing healthcare quality and providing cost-effective solutions to combat infectious diseases, thereby supporting healthcare professionals in reducing antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
 
The event was also attended by Dr George Cheriyan, Corporate CEO/CMO, American Mission Hospital, Dr Jameela Al Salman, Head of QI/Infection Control/Internal Medicine, Dr Ahmed Al Ansari, the Chief Executive Officer of NHRA, Dr Mariam Al Jalahmeh, the CEO of Governmental Hospital, Dr Ijlal Al Alawi, CEO of Primary Health Care Centers as well as Dr Lulwa Showaiter, the Representative of the Minister of Health.
 
Andres Samuelson, CEO of Uvmedico Europe, Peter Johansen, Co-founder and Chairman of Uvmedico and Mohammed Fawzi, Mena Director of Uvmedico, also took part.-TradeArabia News Service
